Tecside are privileged to be partnering exclusively with GANAJI Contracting, a leading electrical and instrumentation services provider supporting a major LNG facility expansion project at Pluto Train 2 in Karratha, WA. We are assisting in the recruitment of a number of skilled Supervisors for this large-scale construction project delivering additional domestic gas infrastructure.

We are looking for experienced Electrical Supervisors to join our team on a 6-month (minimum) fixed-term contract. We welcome applications from candidates who are local to the area or willing to work a 3/1 FIFO roster, from any major city in Australia. Scope – Bechtel Oil & Gas Construction Project – Pluto Train 2

The Electrical Supervisors will be responsible for ensuring all electrical works for the project are constructed by the contractor in accordance with drawings, scope of works, company standards and specifications, Australian Standards and to the project schedule.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor on Mining and Resources Construction Projects.
  • Strong understanding and awareness of Australian Standards, project implementation, constructability, OH&S, environmental and community issues.
  • Able to direct and coordinate a range of people to meet project objectives.
  • Able to read and interpret technical diagrams, drawings and specifications.
  • Good understanding of planning and scheduling requirements, execution of work-packs.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel as well as form & foster collaborative relationships within the business and externally.
  • Sound judgement and decision making, attention to detail & strive for continual improvement.

Licences and tickets

  • Unrestricted WA Electrical License
  • Unlimited Work Rights within Australia
  • Provide First Aid
  • Provide CPR
  • Construction White Card
  • Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel (or willing to obtain)
  • Gas Test Atmospheres (or willing to obtain)

Project Hours of Work

68-hour work week

  • Monday to Saturday: 10-hour days
  • Sunday: 8-hour days

Perks:

  • Competitive pay rates (with penalties, site uplifts, project completion bonus)
    • Day Shift $83.78p/hr / $5,697 Gross p/wk.
    • Night Shift $93.19p/hr / $6,337 Gross p/wk.
    • Public Holiday $168.30 p/hr
    • Additionally, Project Incentive Payment: $175 per week of service on site will be accrued and paid out on the completion of employment on the Project.

In addition to the above, you must:

  • Successfully complete a comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical
